Looking for that rare collectible or need to downsize your business or estate? For the past several years Cal Auctions has been bringing together buyers and sellers by combining the power of the Internet with traditional auction techniques. Sellers save time and money while buyers have the security of purchasing through a trusted auction house.
“The online auction industry has grown in the past decade and people are recognizing the benefits of working with service providers to help them liquidate assets more efficiently and effectively. Our goal is to provide quality service for both sellers and buyers,” said company President Jason Hanks, who was inspired to launch Cal Auctions when he discovered that there was a need for technology, online access, and better service within the auction industry. As a certified auctioneer with a background in Industrial Technology, he has spent the last seven years developing an innovative system to optimize the online auction method of selling.
“We want to create a more personal experience for buyers while maximizing revenue for sellers. As with traditional auctions, buyers can preview and pick-up items, but we also operate similar to eBay by offering online bidding and photo catalogs. We also help sellers advertise their auctions to a worldwide audience,” said Hanks.
Cal Auctions helps hundreds of individuals and companies around the country every year including St. Vincent de Paul Villages, a non-profit that hosts a specialty auction every month to benefit the homeless in San Diego.
